I recently did this self portrait as an assignment in class. It is not as good as I hoped. I think what's throwing me off is the mouth. I found this to be difficult because I am an African American. I probably could've done better with the lips.  and the ears but overall, I think I did a pretty good job with the shadows and the highlights on the eyes and chin.
